1. Data Collection

Parivahan Sewa collects personal information including name, date of birth, Aadhaar number, mobile number, address, and vehicle/licence details solely for the purpose of providing transport-related services under the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 and related rules.

2. Use of Data

Collected data is used exclusively to process DL/RC applications, verify identity through UIDAI, facilitate payments, and maintain the national transport database (VAHAN & SARATHI). No personal data is sold to third parties.

3. Data Security

All data is stored on NIC (National Informatics Centre) infrastructure with end-to-end encryption, role-based access control, and regular security audits as per Government of India IT security standards.

4. Your Rights

Citizens have the right to access, correct, or delete their data by submitting a request through the Grievance Redressal portal or via the official helpline (1800-120-1553).

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing Parivahan Sewa, you agree to these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations of the Government of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988.

2. Service Usage

This portal is provided exclusively for lawful transport-related transactions. Misuse, fraudulent submissions, or unauthorized access attempts will be treated as criminal offences under applicable law.

3. Accuracy of Information

Users are responsible for the accuracy of all information submitted. Providing false information in applications is a punishable offence under Section 182 of the Indian Penal Code.

4. Payment Terms

All fees collected are non-refundable once the application is submitted unless an error by the department is proven. Payment disputes must be raised within 30 days via the Grievance Redressal mechanism.

5. Limitation of Liability

The Ministry of Road Transport & Highways shall not be liable for any loss arising from system downtime, incorrect usage by the applicant, or third-party payment failures.
